Then select "closed hihat" from the same articulations dropdown, check the box "edit articulation only" - and look a bit to the left where you can enter values for soft, gradient and hard hits. ![]() By that, you should have a fine opening and closing hihat sound. Then right click your hihat and choose something like "pedal control" from the articulations dropdown at the right hand side of the screen.
